There are sellers parting out the game as individual figs and in lots. (in the US, at least)

Getting back to WGA, instead of the Harvesters you could look at the giant spiders set.  You can leave off the abdomen and still have a freaky looking beastie, and it's up to you how many limbs you attach.  They are still pretty finicky to assemble, though, and are also fairly large.

I can't find my box of, but aren't there three different sizes? And I think the middle ones can be assembled packing.

There are two sizes: the little ones are just spiders but the larger ones come in multiple pieces - head/thorax, abdomen, and a whole mess of legs, fangs, etc.  There are sci-fi bits like ray guns, cyber arms, and masks.

But also saddles if you want mounts for fantasy.

Disappointing in this case as the small are probably too small for this search.

I picked up the lizard dudes and you can go bows and swords, black powder, or auto guns. Wicked genre adaptive.

The lizards are good to adapt as well. I've done some with big spears (to prod giant spiders into action), some with other weaponry from CP models, Heresy and Hasslefree as snipers and heavy weapons. Some others have become gun crew, some have big backpacks to be long-range scouts. I've done nearly 100 of them now!!

I dug out the official Aliens: Alien Warriors mentioned above.

The figures' feet are integral to the base, which makes re-basing a bit of a problem.

I will try re-basing the Ooh Rah I built and see how they look.

Just noticed that the current set is different to the one I have.

That has twelve warriors,  the current box looks like it has two warrior sprues and a variants sprue (from the 5x5 expansion).

Machine gunners (2 Recon, +2 veteran, +1 special insertion, -1 slow) and snipers (2 Recon +2 snipers, +1 special insertion,+1 counter-sniper):


Artillery crew (2 Recon, +4 support fire, +1 special insertion, -1 slow):


They paint up quite fast using a black undercoat, ink zenithal and then several variants of airbrushed speedpaints for the skin (I think there's three light undersides and two dark topsides colours) and then brushed colours for the rest.

The guns are CP models recoilless rifles on Irregular carriages, sniper rifles are CP models and I can't remember where the SMGs are from -- might be Heresy? The artillery equipment is from all over -- some of it is GZG 15mm not sure about others.

Currently doing spear/shield infantry and some more different weapon swaps.

Excellent painting, the naturalistic colours suits them a treat.
