I have Mage in the Mirror, and looked at the contents of the Dread Moon box.  It looks like a lot of the stuff in the two boxes are duplicates.  Therefore, I might wait to paint Mage until I also have Dread.  Either way, it is far too cold for priming at the moment, and I am loathe to change my undercoating process half-way through a project.  I do not want these guys to look different than the originals, and an undercoat change can drive that type of issue.  Might be a bit before I get anything new painted though.

That doesn't mean you won't see some reviews in this space though!

Still on the Quest.....

This came in the mail, and I put some thoughts and a lot of photos of it up on my blog.

Did I need this? No. Am I glad I got it? Yes.

I just got a package in the mail..... it was the Path of the Wandering Monk!  More to come on that once I get the Monks painted up.

I have pretty much given up on getting the Rogue Heir though.

I agree on the gender mix preference. Particularly with a daughter who’s more into these games than my son. IIRC, there was a gender swap set of the four core heroes in the Hasbro Pulse campaign when HQ first relaunched but I don’t know if they ever went on sale for us regular folk.

They have added different genders in various supplements, but there is not a 1-stop shop for a fully gendered swapped set of heroes.

Sadly.

This is the exclusive pack I was thinking of. Too bad it was never more widely available.

I bought and painted some printed female heroes based on the original Heroquest heroes after my daughter and niece complained about fielding male heroes. We still use the original stats.
Waiter, my soup is giggling.
