Look great.

I heard a nice bit of trivia re the star.  Apparently Brits and US had the point in opposite directions - just can’t remember if it was US pointing backwards or pointing forwards.

Many thanks to all of you for the compliments, guys. Really appreciate that  :-*

Never heard of this to be honest, but at least for the US the star symbol on my jeep is in the correct direction as I have never seen a picture with it other side around  ;)

These are great - good work!

Though I suspect the soldiers on the second one, might be less keen to jump off, at least until they have checked out all of those bottles!

US Engineers in 15mm as support for my US Boys, from demolition, mine clearing and wire cutting to the flamethrower team, everything is represented, including a sergeant.

Intended for Chain of Command, Battlegroup and O-Group.

Utgaard's WW2 projects in 15mm - update: mediterranean Chapel
« Reply #67 on: January 18, 2025, 10:00:51 AM »
As a little warm-up exercise, I'm starting the new year with adding one more piece of terrain to my existing 15mm collection - a small church/chapel for our Sicilian setting, but it could be used nearly all around the Mediterranean.

It´s a 3D print again with the STL from Jens Najewitz (3dprintterrain) where I ‘plastered’ the walls after printing and the roof tiles are individually painted to achieve the typical Mediterranean look.

More pics can be found on my Blog:

Utgaard's WW2 projects in 15mm - CoC-List for the Italian divisione "Livorno"
« Reply #70 on: January 20, 2025, 11:03:20 AM »
As some of you might know, for the most part our CoC games have "Operation Husky" and the fighting for Sicily 1943 as the setting.
As such, I've been doing a lot of research over the last few weeks to create the most accurate army list possible (at least for me) for Chain of Command:
The 4ª Divisione d'Assalto ‘Livorno’, which fought with so much determination and valour in the defence of Sicily in 1943.

And to paint a platoon and the needed support of this division will be my first main project for 2025.

Perhaps our Italian members in particular have further information or tips that could be added to the list?

For the background, used sources and the the resulting list that resulted from the research please have a look on my Blog at:

Utgaard's WW2 projects in 15mm - Elefantino AT gun for the Italian "Livorno"
« Reply #71 on: January 24, 2025, 11:10:07 AM »
My main project for the first part of 2025 - the 4ª Divisione d'Assalto ‘Livorno’ in 15mm for our setting of Sicily 1943.

I´m starting with an Anti-Tank gun, a Cannone da 47/32, also called ‘Elefantino’ - a much needed support against all these Shermans of the US Boys.
Model and crew are 3D printed, STLs are from different sources.

For more pictures please have a look on my Blog at:

Utgaard's WW2 projects in 15mm - Solothurn AT-Rifle for the Italian "Livorno"
« Reply #72 on: February 03, 2025, 06:31:57 AM »
The next support option for my project the Italian "Livorno" division in 15mm is ready to fend off enemy armor, a "Fucile controcarro Solothurn da 20 mm" (Solothurn S-18/1000 Anti Tank rifle).
Just a lightweight one, but nonetheless better than nothing ;-)

3D printed with the STLs coming from 3D Breed.
