Finally, some progress!

The first unit is wip, but coming together nicely. I'm really surprised at how quickly the unit comes together, which makes this grumpy, reluctant painter very happy!!

I will post when the unit is finished, which should be either today or tomorrow...

I just bought some of the WIP Spartans. Your painting really makes them come alive I can't wait to paint mine now!

Looking forward to seeing those!!

Making good progress. The command base looks excellent. I painted my hoplites in 6s. It feels more of a chore painting larger numbers for me.

Thank you!

I tend to paint by the unit, unless of course it's a really big unit, which is why I chose to do Greeks, rather than Achaemenid Persians!!  lol

I've finally found the time to finish this first unit of 28mm Greeks. They were pleasantly quick to paint, when I actually sat down and put the time in! Getting the second unit and their command stand ready now, and I expect to have these done a lot quicker! Progress as it happens  ;)

Thanks! If I was a better painter I might have put some checks on the painted helmets too, but I'm not, so I didn't!  lol

Cool.  I like the colours.    The blue helmet on on of the hoplites looks really nice.
