I know it's on the linked list but, yes, QRF aka Quick Reaction Force is impacted by the outage, received an email from them to that effect.  Actually, just posted about that so others would know.  And then saw another topic on the matter that linked to this one.

Fifteens Away. As the guy who enquired about QRF "good" to know.  The list is certainly much linger than the one on the Karwansary website last week.  Although painful at least I know why QRF "are down" and it isn't because they have ceased trading! I still need to buy more SYW figures from them!

Andy of Tradestands is back from his cruise and is at work on commissioning the new server. He messaged me just after midnight.

It'll be a relief to not have any more offers to help me set up a site with a new or unknown provider using unfamiliar software, when I am quite capable of restoring my Woocommerce based site to somewhere of my own choosing if I felt like it. 🙂

Latest update as far as Fighting 15s is concerned. I gave Tradestands the links to my backups this morning and Andy is currently looking at them. The site is back in maintenance mode, and assuming the backup restores properly I will have to do a little work to bring stock levels back to the July 3 (crash day) levels, and to check over the site before going live again.

When I set up the site on Tradestands, Andy made it clear after installing the Updraft Plus backup plugin for Woocommerce that making backups was my responsibility. That's why I have backups: it was up to me to arrange where to store them (option one for me: in the Cloud, with occasional backups to the desktop Mac). If I chose to pay extra, I could have used the premium version of the plugin to take automatic backups.

I can only speak for Fighting 15s, but the site should be good to go again in the next day or two. I've spent the day checking it over, and am going to have a night's sleep before having a second look.

Importantly, stocks of flags are now balanced and I have backed up the changes... twice.

Blotz is back up.  They report some photos are still missing, and please let them know if you run into any glitches.

Seems some people took the lack of provided backups a lot more seriously than others.

when I heard the news this morning about IT problems hitting banks, airports, railways, the stock exchange, CBBC, and various others my first thought was "I wonder if this was related?".
Today's one seems to be blamed on Microsoft 365
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Ha ha!

Today’s problems are rather at the other end of the scale than a DB update on single server!

Fortunately not too heavily impacted at work - but given the connectiveness of systems its non-trivial to work out if all down stream providers (and their providers) are working as expected.

Miniature-Heroes is back up. Still a work in progress getting all the products back, but it's getting there.
