Tamiya or the Revell, whichever is more readily available/ cheaper. They both do the same job and bond just as well as the other. If you use the Tamiya, avoid the quick dry version, it makes positioning bits more of a pain than it need be and often dries before you have the parts together. Humbrol I find to be not such a good experience these days.
If at any stage you branch into the Rubicon range of plastics, make sure you buy an ABS cement. Plastic Magic does the job for me.
