I've been adding some more miniatures and terrain to my Old West collection to represent border towns.

The minis and the buildings look great, properly gritty!

Agreed! These look fantastic.

How’d you paint the buildings? What was the color formula for those walls? They look great!

Thanks for the positive comments. The buildings were painted with cheap artist acrylic paints I found at my local $2 show. A base coat of brown was painted over the plaster textured surface. Then I found an off white colour (Mocha Cream). I applied this with a sponge ( the foam insert from a blister pack). The last coat was a mix of white and cream ( 2:1), also dabbed on with a sponge. I found sponging gives it a better weathered finish.

On a different note, hear are a few good hearted rogues  I am using as hired guns ( for those who remember Trinity spaghetti westerns)

Well, on the one hand, the Philippines were a part of the Spanish Empire.  On the other hand, Mexico gained its independence from Spain before the likely era depicted - and depicted quite nicely.  So, I guess you need to further develop the back story!  ;)

Four armed banditos vs. Trinity and Bambino?  A mistake of epic proportions as they'll soon learn.
