Bolt Action V3 Mimimum Requirements?

Noob Question here.

One of the guys here is considering the latest edition of Bolt Action and wants to try out a small demo game.
He's going to buy the new book and I have enough WW2 figs to put together forces - but what else do we need?
IIRC, there are templates, tokens/pin counters, and special dice. Anything else particular to Bolt Action I need to get/be aware of?

That'd do, though those extra bits you can improvise, templates are small enough you can measure or just eyeball what would be under them, pin markers can be done with D10 if you have them and you can use counters or different coloured dice and a bit of bookkeeping, the orders dice will be useful (and easier) in future if you're planning to play more.

Order Dice, yes. From my weak internet searches, they seemed crucial. The other stuff, not so much. We'll make it work.

Perhaps the demo will spark enough interest that the rest of the guys will actually invest in their own minis. *gasp*
