Denizen Sci Fi Miniatures Return In 25mm and 28mm!

The Denizen Miniatures Sci Fi ranges are back!

The ranges are now also being released in 28mm slotta versions.  This potentially scratches 2 itches for me. 

The classic 25/26mm Ventaurans are one of my favorite Sci-Fi forces in 28mm games as it seems perfectly reasonable to have aliens being shorter than Humans. They were written into the background for my Mech Attack games and have fought many battles there so being able to potentially grow my army is a good news. Also the grav-bike rider figures, with the heads pack was my go-to for putting pilots in sci Fi vehicles. Seems like the prices haven't gone up too much either.

Secondly, I've always liked the look of their Human Sci Fi factions, but found them too small for my uses.  Now that they're coming in 28mm, they're very tempting.

Probably the best 25mm sci-fi there was, I will get some of these in 28mm even if just for nostalgia's sake!

Always loved the Ventaurans range the most, but the droids are also a must have

Didn't someone do the Ventauran's in 15mm at some point?
I quite liked some of the armed civilian/adventurer's and the K'hiff so may well look at those later on.

I think it's pretty clear they are deliberate "not-Zhodani".  He sculpted not-colonial-Marines also.

I quite liked some of the armed civilian/adventurer's and the K'hiff so may well look at those later on.

Eureka still sells them I think.

I have the 25mm versions of those and I'm definitely interested in 28mm versions, especially as it's the proper Marvin!

The original 25mm Mid tech troopers were favourites, but I let them go when scale creep passed them by.
Back then, they were available singly.
Very interested to see them come back as 28mm

My thoughts exactly. I was always tempted by the 25mm human sci Fi factions for the quality and price, but I've always collected 28mm (even when it was called heroic 25mm).  Now I'm quite tempted by the new 28mm versions.

I do think if Chub had done 28mm versions they'd have the fine detail of the 25mm on larger figures, but I'm also not put off by the chunkier detail on these up-sized versions.

I too had them in 25mm, & also passed them on when 28s came along.
Might be tempted to buy a pack of 28s for old times sake.

I think I've still got a few of the 25mm mid tech troopers in a bag somewhere, as well as one or two of the Feds, and I should probably admit to owning the not-Hagar the Horrible figure!

I'm very happy to see the Denizen figures being redone as 28mm figures but I'm now thinking about other ranges that would benefit from the same treatment - the old 'Spacefarers' range for one; they were a very nice range of figures that I'd love to see again in 28mm.

You're probably thinking of Darkest Star Games.  If not, they'll certainly do the job just fine.  They also do 6mm scale.  Going by past experiences some quality sculpts and casting and well-packed for shipping.
