My 28mm Early Achaemenid Persians
« on: August 06, 2024, 09:37:29 AM »
The first (of many!) units for my new Persian army.

I have already finished the Sparabara for my second unit, and have based up my first command stand, more updates to follow  :D

Excellent! The unit certainly has the depth that’s needed for their arrows to block out the sun.

Thanks all!

I enjoyed painting them all in the same colours. I know that its unlikely that may be the case but I think once the whole army is all together it'll look much more impressive with all the different designs  :)

Great looking, very crisp shields was my first thought. Also like the depth of the unit. Persians are on my bucket list as well but unfortunately that list is way too long...

Latest update for my Persians.

I have made a command stand and painted them in the same colours as the unit. My plan is to do the same for each of my units so I have the choice whether to use them or not each game. I have been doing lots of other bits in the background but these are completely finished now.

Hope you like them  :D
