Wonderful pick up on those Sepoys, and loving the artillery.

Any idea on the Ensign/Flag Bearer and Officer Model? Those fit with Foundry fairly nicely. (Old glory?)

I'm not sure...but my guess was also Old Glory.

There are some more of those miniatures in today's offering mixed in with the Foundry sculpts - again, this unit wasn't painted by me, although they have needed a bit of TLC along with rebasing :)

This next photo demonstrates what I had in mind with the larger bases (ie allowing for some additional sense of movement / lack of order)

...and of course the obligatory group photo

On a bit of roll with the rebasing...managed to finish two more battalions of Sepoys - as before the original figures not painted by myself I've done a bit of minor repairs as the uniforms were looking a bit chipped up, but my contribution is really to rebase them...quite relaxing actually.

Becoming a decent-sized force now... need to add some more artillery, commander and some baggage, plus of course lots of hangers-on, so there is plenty for me to paint myself

They look great. Nothing wrong with buying some nicely painted units to jump start an army.
Painted:  2024: 236; 2023: 37; 2022: 56

Great stuff!

The mutiny is becoming more and more interesting to me, especially after seeing projects like this and the figure lines from Empress.

It is one of the most fascinating Colonial periods. Extremely colourful and, at least in the earlier battles, well matched adversaries.
You'll never regret it.

Nice Job with the rebases and touch ups!

Loving the green cuffs, which particular regiment is that based off? Searching through my flags but see one!

Thanks everyone, plenty more to come...some more units to rebase, plus lots of gaps to fill with newly painted minis

Not sure how historically accurate it is, but the unit flag suggests it's the 6th Bengal Regt?  I know that green cuffs was a thing, just don't know enough about the individual Bengal units to confirm if its historically correct, but it works for me  ;)

Another unit from the collection I picked up...some TLC and rebasing, and they are ready to return to the fray

Really enjoying this thread. Tempting me into Indian Mutiny. Especially dangerous given there is no chance anyone would ever play it with me.

You mean we are supposed to play games with these damn things?  :o

Well you could always paint both sides and then play a solo game... if I don't find an opponent locally I'll just write a solo set, a bit like Pony Wars, but then again I haven't thought that far ahead just yet  lol

I'm falling down this rabbit hole, dragging out long stored Afghan type figs. Can someone recommend suitable artillery pieces for the Afghans?

Those look great  ;)
