Asking here seems sensible to me. If there's been no obvious activity for some time one wants feedback not just on whether they are still trading but what their service is like.

As to the canoes, we all have our own aesthetics. One person's "these are great" is another's "Meh! They'll do" and a third's "crude and unusable."

Each to their own, I say.
