Give a dog a bone! I like that you've got the Rottweiler color scheme going on there. Nice job!

I haven't seen that miniature before. I'm not too familiar with Alternative Armies' stuff- waaaaayyyy back in the day our FLGS carried some Flintloque minis that were intriguing, but this doesn't look like it's from that line, unless they've expanded their historical source material past the Napoleonic age.

Keep it up, I'd love to see how the game goes!
I have a YouTube and so can you!

Next is the Blood-Drenched Skeleton!

As per the Johan Nohr illustation, I tried to make this as 'blood-drenched' as possible!

The rulebook says they only carry a short-sword, so this model was a good fit. No modifications have been made this time!

Muahahahahaha! That guy is great. It's like he rose from the grave and jumped into a vat of blood. Nice!

That skeleton really fits the aesthetic of this project well. Everything you've shown in this thread does too, but that skeleton is just perfect to me for MB. Nice work!

Excellent work on the skeleton and dogman - you're creating a really distinctive set of miniatures here!

Fantastic work on the skeleton, really captures the MB feel. I may have to steal the idea for some of my own skellies  :D

Thank you all!

Next is a Berserker-Slayer!

Berserker-Slayers are hyper-aggressive ogre-like monsters that very suddenly teleport into the Dying World, without warning, from "the depths of a forgotten dimension of blood", screaming with rage and flailing about with their assortment of deadly weapons.

The base model is a Das Schwarz Auge Ogre from Ral Partha. The two weapons are from a Nick Lund troll (Grenadier, I think), available from Forlorn Hope miniatures, and the flexible resin/wire chains are from Zinge Industries. Glued to a 50mm base.

I chatted with MB's illustrator and graphic designer, Johan Nohr, to ask him what colour Berserkers ought to be. He said words to the effect of: either blood red, corpse pale, or encased in so many layers of dried blood and rust it's hard to tell. Taking all this on board, I decided to go for a dark rusty blood red, but painted his face with 'war paint' resembling that worn by Abbath Doom Occulta, the former lead singer of the black metal band Immortal.

Absolutely sick once again. I hope we get to see some action shots of play in the future (hint hint)

Thank you, both!

No need to hint: that's the plan eventually! But we're not close. Many more miniatures need to be painted first!

Here's a Wickhead!

Wickheads are strange artificial constructs composed of humanoid bodies—an amalgamation of metal and flesh—but their most distinctive feature is that their head is a lantern! They have a magical ability to douse all nearby lights, plunging the area into complete darkness, then suddenly igniting their own light and blinding their foes. They like to sneak up and attack with filthy, blood-encrusted knives, dealing infectious wounds.

This is a Grenadier 'Raider Monk' (not sure if that's what they were originally called in 1994, but that's what Forlorn Hope has them labelled as), with his head replaced with a lantern (also purchased from Forlorn Hope) and wrapped in wire/flexible resin chains from Zinge Industries.

Johan Nohr has a particular fondness for these, I think, as he's drawn at least three!

Great to see you cranking these out. I'm 99% lurker, but I've always enjoyed following your projects.

Another great figure and consistent with the theme

These are a lot of fun- nice work! That Berserker-Slayer face is something to behold. Reminds me of Grandma. Can't wait to see them all together!
