When planning for 15mm I tend to think of vehicles, so how about the following, all Pulp Era:

- Sea plane
- Biplane for 1-2 people
- Large transport biplane
- Hot air baloon or small blimp
- Waterline submarine
- All sorts of those crazy tanks they had back in that era, ranging from WW I long tanks to multi-turret tanks to fast tankettes, etc.
- Field artillery
- Machine gun positions
- Trucks with flatbeds for hauling treasure and/or crew weapons
- Fancy car for aristocrat villians (like in the holy grail Indiana Jones)
- Small boats like rowboats
- Small and medium river steamboats

As for lines of figures:
- Chinese (like Copplestone's)
- Russians (like Copplestone's)
- Capt. Nemo type sailors
- Cold weather European guys (Arctic or Tibetan adventures!)
- Cold weather Nepal/Tibet guys
- Jungle natives with spears/clubs/swords
- Jungle natives with rifles
- African natives with spears/clubs/swords
- African natives with rifles
- European/American explorers, male and female, with a variety of weapons, ranging from pistols, swords, rifles, knives, whips, walking sticks, etc.
- Chinese pirates

ErikB,

Thanks for the list.  A bit late but not yet 'too' late.  And timely reminder on a water line submarine!

Have you looked around at the existing ranges - both pulp and WWI in 15 mm?  Much of what you mention is already available.  Certainly not all, but quite a bit.

Mostly covered I think, but now about a mad scientists robot army and mad scientists daughter?

Asian aside, it's not exactly in the vein of this thread, but I would love some John Carter type figures in 15mm. The only 15's I know don't do it for me.

I did mine by converting a 15mm Copplestone barbarian to carry a 28mm sword (from the Targ as John is strong enough)!

To answer the question, I must say that I collected everything available in 15mm for many years but with the birth of my daughter and Corona had a severe break. I do own Indy, Biggles and many more.

What’s needed?
1. „dumb“ Nazis. You know the guys that were not the real ones but which guard Schloß Brunwald and Berlin!
2. Ack-Ack-Macaque. If you don’t know what I mean, google and buy it!
3. Submarine crew
4. Rocket Ranger/Rocketeer etc. + sidekick, love interest
5. Flash Gordon type and pals
6. Leather Goddesses from Phobos / Space Amazons
7. Targs!!!! (Yes, I know we have good ones, but I want 15s in the quality of the Bronze Age Miniatures 28mm)
8. Golden Age Superheroes (US, Nazi and Communist)
9. Pulp Commie heroes (think of C&C Red Alert 2)
10. Pulp Spaceship and Crew

Just figured I would add to the brainstorming.  Some of those larger vehicles are really useful for start and end points in a mission as well as a fixed firebase.  They can look really cool, too.

I did think about that option, but it's a lot of work to convert enough miniatures and I would have to find day-guns for some and give some females knives. Plus I couldn't think where to find Tharks.

Job done.

I sent off just now a list of 24 separate suggested packs to the manufacturer that, if fully produced, would create a fantastic and spectacular range of 15 mm pulp figures.  More suggestions submitted than requested but I'm operating under the well-worn theory of "not to ask is not to receive".

No, it won't make all of you completely happy but all of you would at least be partially happy.  I did confine it to the 'traditional pulp' of circa 1930-35 era and included things suggested by others here and in other discussion groups, not just what I would want.  So now it is just a matter of wait and see.

Sorry, no further revelations at this time.  Maybe one day - but no promises.

Cool!  I look forward to seeing the results.

(And don't worry, it was a dream list, we know that only some of it is meant to be produced).

Rather than go for the standard Nazi look of the early ww2 soldiers, could they be sculpted as 1920's/30's SturmAbteilung? More in keeping with paramilitary brownshirts of the pulp era rather than the later military types I'm thinking.

Curious idea about the SA but not sure this manufacturer would travel that route.

That's a shame - for 1918-20 germans I can find plenty of late ww1 figures, similarly for 1935-39 germans I can find plenty of early ww2 figures but there's very little choice for the classic pulp germans in between for the 20's and 30's. If you are worried about the look - it's the same as the 'Blues Brothers' "Illinois Nazi's" look.

I would love to see pulp Pilots.
Male hero, female sassy with revolver, female pilot sky pirates, downed aircrew lugging a Lewis gun. Lather caps, goggles, scarf, leather jackets (or Matron jacket) and Jodhpurs.

And another vote for Jazz band, flappers and Speakeasy patrons.

Haven't heard back yet from supplier after submitting my ideas.  Which may indicate - nothing at all.  It was a lot of stuff to work through.  I will continue to be hopeful until I am given a definitive reason to abandon hope.  I will follow up with supplier, eventually, but not just yet.  Allow more time.

Again, if the full list is realized, most of you will be largely happy - though a few disappointments perhaps.  Better a few disappointments and a lot of happy.

Shame I'm late for recommendations, but I can safely say I will gladly buy most 15mm pulp packs that were mentioned here!

I play exclusively in 15mm and the classic adventure style pulp is my favorite setting out there. I already got bunch of what's available out there for 15mm pulp and got into digital kitbashing to make more. I will gladly support any manufacturer who makes 15mm pulp :)
