Does Anyone Know How to Use AMMO Bullrushes?

I bought what I thought were scenic bullrushes and ended up with a pack of separate pieces, with zero instructions how to put them together into the finished product. I've been on the AMMO website and they don't have any instructions on there either, and the one video I found with them using it showed them just gluing a fully completed bullrush into place!

Anyone got a clue?

Without a picture of the actual product, I will have to refer you to tutorials for Noch on their product as I suspect that it will be similar.

Snitcy - it's quite different from those fellas, but thanks for including them.

Tactalvanic - that gave me an idea of what it looks like when finished, but no step-by-step! I think the pack I have is missing the bag of brown powder for making the fuzzy bit on the end.

wire, brown bit on top, dab of glue below and dunk in fuzz then glue leave blades around it.

So no fuzz bag no good.

You're right! I missed that first photo for some reason, thanks! I bought the pack hoping they would be ready-made, dagnammit. I'm a busy man, with important appointments to see important people to do important things.

I have to agree.  Creating miniature bullrushes is supremely important.  I suspect that Cubs has his priorities skew-wiff.

No thanks to you pack of dingoes, I think it's finally (kind of) sorted. I contacted the manufacturers who assured me it was a very simple procedure, then gave me the link that Tactalvanic gave me, plus an 8pt bullet list of instructions that no-one could possibly imagine on their own. Apparently the little inexplicable discs are to be stuck together in a little tower, with one with a hole on top, then the wire is glued in there! This seems like the most complicated arse-backwards way anyone could possibly come up with (or jam it in a cork, like on the link).

The bag of dust flock (for making the fuzzy heads) was missing from the pack so I contacted the shop I'd bought it from and they eventually posted out a whole new replacement pack of bullrushes ... with the damn flock missing again! I advised them I thought they'd been sent a batch of bullrushes with no flock inside and said I'd source some elsewhere. They should have fun checking their entire supply. In the end I found some fine dark-brown flock I must have bought years ago for some forgotten project, shook it through a flour sifter and now I have plenty, plus two packs of leaves and stems for when I have a spare month to make them up.

There has been much grinding of teeth.

Sounds like you have been around the houses to get this sorted out.  Always upsetting when a pack is missing bits.

Not the greatest product are they.  It looks like a mass produced version of what the more insane Railway modellers were doing thirty years ago.  Looking at what they supply I think I’d ditch everything except the paper leaves.  Use the flock you have found and dip broom bristles in glue, then into the flock, to make the Reed head.  When they are dry, add the leaves around the head to make the complete plant.  Once that has dried, drill holes in whatever you are using as the base and glue them in.  They are going to be less than robust for gaming though…..

You can say that again - £10 for that little lot. I thought it was expensive even when I thought I was getting fully made-up ones, but my heart sank when I opened the package and saw what was in it. Lesson learned.

Fluffy heads and about figure head height. Look pretty good as bullrushes. they don;t have the large spike but then not all species do. At the very least you don't have to put the damn things together.
