"Darth Vader" is dead, RIP James Earl Jones

The legendary voice of Darth Vader, James Earl Jones has passed - at a venerable 93.  Though I liked him better as Thulsa Doom - and we got to see him in that role.

An incredible voice with a presence to match! I love the sheer variety of his roles. An amazing career worthy of an incredible man.

What a loss to the world.  An amazing career long before either Star Wars or Conan, including Dr Strangelove, Great White Hope, Sesame Street, the Comedians, and one of my underrated favourites, Robert Shaw's sidekick in The Swashbuckler.

A huge loss - he brought a tremendous presence to each and every role he played. He will be missed.

Couldn't see him as Vader - he did the voice, but David Prowse was the actor in the robes and mask (you can see him in A Clockwork Orange as the writer's nurse and attendant near the end).

He was hilarious as a guest spot on Big Bang Theory, even pranking Carrie Fisher with Sheldon  lol

Yep! That novel was written by an Albertan. And then made into that movie.

Sad to lose him.  Such a voice and dignified way of speaking.

Darth Vader. He died, twice! Both a loss to the genre. Jones was a very fine actor.
