Those are very nice.
I'm hard pressed to think of a use for them (playing on the poop deck of one of my pirate ships, perhaps?) - but very nice.  :)

I got a strange idea: Even today there permormances, mainly, chamber music or maybe some opera/operette, with performers dressed in period costume. So, they could be at the opening act of a swashbuckling, pulp or some other genre adventure.
Or could they just give a concert for the fat governor and his lovely daughter (and their guest) in the nearby island of your pirates, just prior to the arrival of the pirates

Oh yes, they're lovely.

As the proud commissioner of of many of these figures, I have a great need of civilians from louche nobility to the lowliest hobbling veteran.

18th Century Pulp uses a lot of this material and in my alter ego of the ImagiNation of Nouvelle-Champagne I feel it is vital to provide a civil presence on any battlefield. It's only civilised. Wait 'til you se the barouche.

The Good Kardinal has excelled himself. There will be a Nouvelle-Champagne blog site appearing soon.

Stick them on the back of one of those big ox-drawn wagons and use them as an 18thC terror weapon  ;)

I said the same thing ("I have no use for them, but I need them!") when I bought mine at Fall in. My friend Lee suggested that a secret message might be encoded in the sheet music of one of the musicians and suddenly they became very useful! mind you, I have yet to game with them and so far only Bach and Fred have been painted, bt at least the purchase seems justified. 8)

They are indeed real nice figures… still I can fid them on the Eureka’s USA site… can someone provide a direct link? Or maybe they’re not available yet?

They tuned, and at no great distance Killick said to his mate, 'There they are, at it again. Squeak, squeak; boom, boom. And when they do start a-playing, it's no better. You can't tell t'other from one. Never nothing a man could sing to, even as drunk as Davy's sow.'

I'm not sure they are for general sale yet. Rob had limited stock (@10 of each I think) at Fall In. I would drop him an email. He's always very prompt and courteous in my experience.

The last info I got from Ian at Fighting 15's is that they are not yet in public sales but eventually they will be released some time in the near(?) future.

I need them, too  (don't know why)
