And here's the last of them straight off the painting table.
First up, a couple of bases of light infantry slingers:
These are fantastic sculpts. I love the chap squatting down looking for his next target, and the sheer dynamism in the poses of the ones who are actually discharging their slingers is impressive too.
I've also sneaked an ally-Syrian archers onto one of the bases: a bit of variety and a lesson in buying enough figures!
Continuing the Syruan theme, here are the ally-Syrian light chariots. I chose to contrast them with the bright colours of the Hittite chariots by using a combination of browns and yellow. Again, the crew figures are great poses that really bring the models to life.
And finally, one more heavy chariot base to bring the total up to twelve chariots on six bases:
I'll augment my collection with figures from other ranges, but the Hittites are 95% doen now and certainly ready for the tabletop. I cannot recommend these TRed Copper sculpts enough: wonderful poses and pretty easy to paint.
