I need this like I need four extra holes in my head but I've also been considering it for a Very Long Time and that is adding some World War Two figures to my collection - but keeping the numbers Very Small and in 15 mm. I'm looking at the Eureka 15 mm range: US Marines, Pacific Australians, and Japanese. Love that I can buy all the figures for each of those three without duplicating poses. Almost certainly be a skirmish level sort of game. (Adds up to around 150/160 figures - that is very few for me, more like 40 or 50 versus 40 or 50 since unlikely to field Marines and Aussies in same game, not impossible though).
So, first question: what ranges would be compatible with Eureka figures mentioned above - especially vehicles (besides the ones they offer of course) but figures as well. Especially great if figures are in unique or in small packs.
Second question: One Hour Wargames Rules (not really skirmish, I know) but like to hear from those who use the rules for WWII.
Third question: alternative and Very Simple rules for WWII Pacific Theater skirmish levels. And when I say simple, I really mean simple. Love to read about it but I AM NOT AND WILL NOT BE a weapons nerd (though thankful they are out there to give us the data to create accurate stuff). I just want to have a fun game that looks like WWII but don't want to have to pore over charts to decide if I nicked the rear left corner of a tank or winged that sword waving Japanese officer at the back of his right elbow.
. And, yes, I want tanks and other vehicles in my games - even at the skirmish level. I don't want granularity, just quick and fun to play.
Thanks!
