A platoon of 10, 3-D printed imperial stormtroopers, three "walkers" from Wiley Games resin miniatures (BLST3R), and a new Acheson Creations Sci-Fi building.

In addition to be legendary bad shots, stormtroopers are a pain in the butt to paint, as I discovered!

The walkers weren't nearly as bad, though now I wish I had decide against metallic color accents and gone with flat colors instead. Oh well...

Read about my trials and tribulations with this batch on my Lead Legionaries blog:

Managed to get these two Alien civilians painted though. Designed by EC3D, printed by MicksBits via Etsy.

Then we have Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead. Designed by Vault Z, printed by FutureForgeOnline via Etsy.

Bunch'o'stuff this month

Reaper giant bats and were-bat

Reaper bat swarms (mix of metals and Bones USA) + 1 I've had for ages

I backed the Zombicide: Invader KS a few years ago and these were in the KS extras box.

Xenomoths Spawn

Flingers Spawn

Finally, some spawn points for When Nightmares Come (and others). I should have shown them against a figure, but the pentacles are all 25mm diameter. The skinny ones are keyrings I found on Amazon, while the chunkier ones I made and printed myself. The "crystals" are 3d printed shaps stuck in Milliput.

Some more stuff for the town. Vesna designs printed by Warhammer Rose, paint slapped on by me.  The Baker is from the Midlam stuff I posted earlier.

It took awhile, but a painted a big batch (for me) of 12 various types of droids. Here's a group shot:

They came from various places, including modifying 3-D printed scatter scenery, Hydra Miniatures "Retro Raygun" line, and Reviresco Miniatures from RRB Minis & More. Here's a look below at two of the Retro Raygun ones.

Check out my blog entry for the full run down on how I did everything and lots more pics...! :-*

Another batch of orcs for Orctober. Mostly Splintered Light miniatures and Demonworld figures. Now to base them…

And the orcs are based. I also ended up with extra 4 warriors not shown in the photo - I’ll probably dig one more out of the pile to finish up one more base, but won’t have that finished by midnight. I missed my Orctober target by 4 figures (2 giant trolls, a goblin shaman and the shaman’s wolf) but overall I’m happy with how the army grew this year.

Thanks! I’m planning on finishing up the trolls and goblin shaman, then doing some army pics for my fantasy thread. The orc army is now at a mature stage - I’ll add a few units occasionally but it has what I want for gaming.
