It took a while but I finally managed to find a book about the White Russians in Mongolia and China that described the units not led by Ungern, such as the Kazagrandi detachment, in halfway decent detail. A few of you will enjoy Serebrennikov's book
The Great Retreat: the Dispersion in Asia of the White Russian armies, 1919-1923. Along the way I also picked up a whole bunch of other related articles on various aspects which I thought I might as well attach. Locating the places from the old names is always a chore with these books, but it is much worse when they are in Mongolia and China.
I have also added some material on smaller Polish actions. I really enjoyed the small book on the battle of Wołoczyska and the raid on Korosten. The rest is pretty ordinary, but since I have it I thought I might as well post it. It's here:
