Retro 40k Distractions...
« on: November 04, 2024, 09:56:18 PM »
Brother Zippy and Brother Bungle ready to smite heretics like it's 1993, in all their not-quite-bolter-holding glory... should probably have sourced a set of "assault" arms for one of them!

Quite pleased with the bases, but too scared to dig out one of my period bases to see how close I got the match, mixed entirely by eye from memory of how I remembered Goblin Green looking...  ::)

I make no apologies for the names (one for the Brits...) There's plenty more where they came from for future additions...

Lovely smooth paint jobs, really digging the colour of the armour.

Very nice work on that entirely. Can't wait to see brother George next.

Straight outta RT, yo!  8)

A lovely interpretation of one of the OG Space Marine chapters. I like the darker armour colour and the freehand (especially including the helmet stripes!) is wonderful. Can't RT without some Kil Kil Kil either of course.

Better keep them away from any Sisters of Battle though ;)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Thanks folks, very kind! Quite enjoyed this little excursion...

If I ever find the other two Mk6 bodies at a reasonable price, and relevant accessories, and can pluck up the courage to paint more rainbow helmet flashes, he and Sergeant Jeffrey may follow...

And the French Navy... ::) Yeah, SoB aren't good for their long-term survival...
