Hmm...the paint jobs aren't selling them.

But the multiple periods of head choices certainly do!

Yeah, the bodies look really underwhelming (seen several posts discussing this kit).  I appreciate the idea behind varying heads, but the minis leave me a bit cold.

I can understand the thinking behind the clothing and although I can see myself buying them to add to the modern horde, the heads have conversion potential for other plastics.

They look ok to me. Is it 5 of each body type to the set?

I enjoyed the limitations of the Mantic and Wargames Factory zeds, so I think this set would fit in just fine.

I was thinking you could mix in some historical bodies with the tattered zombie bodies to retain some historical flavor (I’m sure that possibility has occurred to Wargames Atantic themselves, based on the heads included).

Yes; these will be most excellent conversion fodder. They might not be the best zombies for any period, but I will probably buy a box just for the bits and combine them with whatever period/army I need to undead. Just  as I've been doing with GW, Mantic, WA and other manufacturers...

Nice  :)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I'm converting some Victrix Vikings into Draugr for Ravenfeast, and originally planned to just paint them in rotting fleshtones. Now I'm going to wait and use some of those heads. I also fancy going all Silver Bayonetty with Songs of Drums and Shakos and use those Nap zombie heads with Nap plastics.

They paint up OK (better than they look TBH):

I prefer the Fireforge Games ones, but for 'generic', and getting nearly double it's nice to have the kit.  One of my buddies is considering picking up a box.  I can see this being an easy choice for a "let's play a silly zombie game".
