Great stuff! I was wondering what those look like painted - been considered picking some up for my own post-apocalyptic gaming. I like what I see, and they will fit into my setting (Canada), where semi-automatic rifles are pretty rare. More hunting rifles and shotguns in this area, and any survivor will be dressed for cold weather.

Most have got backpack/rucksacks on their back as well

The packs are good figures for a post-apocalyptic setting, wherever it is. I like that the Athena miniatures figures are fairly simple sculpts, should be easy to paint.

Nice project - good to see another "After the Bomb" thread on here...  :D

I haven't posted photos of many civvies yet, but Crooked Dice, and Artizan have some suitable figures that will be compatible with the Empress soldiers.

If you check out my thread (in my signature) there are some useful reference resource links on the first page

Thanks for sharing Athena Miniatures. Hadn't heard of them before. Might have placed an order as a result of your pictures.  ;)

I've only ever seen them at the Warfare show at Farnborough, they should get some more press because they have some useful figures across their ranges.

Its good to see them getting a wider audience - the range was originally owned by LAF's very own Silent Invader as part of his Scavenge Skirmish Survive Project
