More dropship goodness
« on: December 01, 2024, 09:17:54 PM »
Made another dropship. This one was more of a conversion rather than just putting legs on another miniature.
I started with this 15mm APC from Brigade Models:

And turned it into a dropship that works for 3mm and 6mm

Conversion was very simple, just adding turrets, domes and pbits from the bits box.

Interesting.  I didn't realize the...grav-lift panels, I guess?... were separate from the (presumably) resin hull.  They made of metal, I assume?

Yes the grav engines are metal, so I was able to have them stick out to act as feet.

I think it will still work as a plausible APC at the original scale even with the new turrets.

If Germy sez it's a dropship, that's what it is!  ;)

Mind, I would have suggested visible thrusters...  :D

The thrusters are just too well hidden

And because someone asked me nicely for a version in flight I've cobbled this together

...

I stand corrected. Maybe lean against the wall a bit...
