Going back to my old days, painting up Acheson Creations resin buildings. Love, love, love their terrain and was sad when Craig went into semi-retirement! They are so easy to paint up and get ready for the tabletop. Black prime, wet brush, dry brush, wash, and you're done!

Close up of two of the larger buildings. The three are intended for Medieval or Dark Age games, but could easily slide into a number of other periods. I picked them up on sale as a regional distributor was having a half off going out of business sale this past May at a convention. For more discussion of how I painted them, check out my Lead Legionaries blog:

Brilliant work, Mike! I fondly remember Acheson terrain, and wishing I could have bought some. You did it a fine work!

A 28mm Tofu Bar from Miniature Building Authority. Yeah, I know...tofu bar?? It fits in well with my street markets and such. Resin terrain piece, with the bar and counters all as one piece and four separate stools.

It WAS a lot of work painting the two dozen plus items on/behind the counter. I added the patterned paper for flooring, and then used micron pens to make the paver stone design.

That’s a very cool looking tofu kiosk (we’ll set aside for a moment the question of why anyone would visit a tofu kiosk…).

I painted a few more zombies over the past couple weeks. More pics are in my post-apocalypse thread: https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=144280.15

I think we should combine both of your great work and consider the true horror of a post apocalypse world where all that is left is a Tofu Kiosk   :o

Next up from the Wargames Atlantic box are the two chariots.  I based the ‘horses’ separately so that I can use them independently for cavalry, along with the other six horses that come in the box.

Realized after I took the photo, some of the horns needed attention.

Alternative Armies goblins.  Just happy to get some paint on something other than a base.

Some potential character choices for my upcoming semi-historical Sellswords & Spellslingers campaign.

Reviewing what figures I had I discovered that I have zero armored archers in my Dark Ages collection. I have four now...!  ;D

The guy on the left is my favorite. I'm sure it is not a coincidence that he resembles Mel Gibson's take on William Wallace in Braveheart... lol

For more pics and info on how I converted the figures into archers, check out my Lead Legionaries blog:
