Scarab Miniatures French
« on: December 02, 2009, 10:54:59 PM »
Hi Guys,

Here is my take on the French from Scarab Miniatures. I found great pleasure in painting these chaps and my thanks to Robi the designer and Rob of Scarab Miniatures. Just the hotchkiss with two crew and two senior commanders to paint up.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming release of the 37 mm trench gun and the Christmas special. 75 mm field gun is also on the way at some point very soon too.

very good! :D not only for the paintjob, but the miniatures themselves are very nice!
specially because they are not the regular rifle carrying infantrymen!

I just love the soup guy!   :-*

Really superb painting of nice figures  :-*  Although the 'rear' shot of the officer with his left armed raised hints that he may have eaten a dodgy Bouillabaisse!  lol

Hi Matt,

Gidday to you in sunny G!

Thanks for your kind words. My army is expanding with the necessary bits and pieces that one needs. I'm looking forward to seeing the French 37 mm trench gun from Scarab and the VB grenadiers from Brigade Games. I can then say that it's close to finish. I've 32 French bayonets to paint up which are the latest release from Brigade Games to flesh out the companies this will be followed by 2 field guns already undercoated with crew and two mgs an one more trench mortar.

Ciao,

Helen

Thanks again guys for your kind comments.

I'm very happy with my painting style at the moment as this craft has come along way since I started painting minaitures less than two years ago. Peder received my first ever paint work for his redoing an I'm sure he would see a huge difference from the miniatures he has in his hand. My clients are also happy with my style so that's good.

The ubiquitous green towel is always an added feature for all my photographs taken at home an I'm somewhat suprised Peder hasn't pipped in with his usual comments.  :o

Love animals an I love the fact not only the pigeon, but the cat at the feet too. My own Skrat in miniature!  8)

Thanks again,

Helen

Give him time... He'll be along soon...  ;)
