28mm Napoleonic Maltese
« on: January 17, 2025, 06:47:34 PM »
Has anyone any suggestions for the best 28mm figures to represent the Maltese forces during the siege. I saw some photos of a re-enactment of the siege and they were wearing white uniforms. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Cheers

For the regulars the standard 1790 French infantry, artillery and dragoons in bicorne should be sufficient I would have thought.

The light infantry and militia are a different kettle of fish, I once had a 15mm 1798 Maltese army and had the lights especially made by Irregular. For militia I was going to use Lancashire Games Vendean militia in head scarfs but never got that far before I sold it. I've no idea how to go about those in 28mm.

I do have several prints of the various units and re-enactment photos on my pc, too many to attach here, I can pm you them?
