Once again looking for help: Guys with wolf skin heads....
« on: January 23, 2025, 04:31:58 AM »

Request from my DM: Guys wearing wolf pelts and wolf heads.

I would totally go with GW Teutogen Guard, but they are sold out. Can't find any knock offs either.

Victrix Vikings has a wolf head, and they are an option.

Sadly I missed out on the old GW Men of Dunlend. The new ones look...furry....but not sure how much fur is on them, and no heads.

Any other places I can look? I know Roman Velites have wolf heads, but the skirmisher look is not what he wants and I'm not sure the heads would be kitbashable.

Do they need to be plastic and how many do you need?

For victrix vikings, you are looking at just the command sprue, so maybe better looking for sprue dealers rather than the full set.

For metal, I think there is at least one wolf head in Footsore's old berserk/ulfhednar pack. I think there may be more in the new sets from the Matt Bickley kickstarter.

Thanks for the info about the command sprue. I'd need maybe 5 guys.

Footsore guy found!

Thanks!

I made these using Warlord Games Celtic Warriors with assorted weapons and Agema miniatures Roman Velite heads and wolf skin capes.  https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=132566.msg1683492#msg1683492

Love them! Another option, and I was trying to find a way to use more celtic models.
