The buildings from "Things" capture the look of 18th century American buildings. Likely because they're based on the real thing. Except for perhaps Charlie Foxtrot's models, and some of Hovels buildings, they far surpass other manufacturers' attempts at this time and place. A good example is the new barn, which is a good representation of an English colonial barn. The door is on the long side, not the gable side. Its sheathed in wooden shakes.
While I love these buildings, they are a bit large. My buildings are Hovels and home made, both have smaller footprints, and these would dwarf them.
