War of the Worlds Survivors
« on: February 15, 2025, 04:56:52 PM »
Trying this again, my previous post seems to have disappeared!

I have started up a new campaign for Henry, Colin and Mark, set in the aftermath of an H G Wells-styles Martian Invasion https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2025/02/war-of-worlds-survivors-campaign.html

Consider yourself stalked... Er... :o

I shall be following with rapt attention! :D

Expect questions about sources of miniatures.

This is great and gives me opportunities to use my VSF figures.

Where are the Martian figures from?

Thank you gentlemen.

The Stalkers and Scuttlers are 3d prints from Esty, a range called Mindarian Menace.
The Martian/Human hybrid is a CMON model from the World of Smog steampunk game.
The Shades are Victorian Zombies from various sources, mostly Ironclad.

Ambassador Nail from the World of Smog expansion The Embassy, it seems.

One fellow has the figure for sale in the US at $13 including shipage. Your work makes it most tempting, Sunjester...

I am a fan of this genre as well.  However, I set mine in 1938 to be related to the Orson Welles broadcast. It was not a hoax, but an actual event in my game.

I like the Martian, it's kind of like the unholy spawn of a mechanical horseshoe crab and a squid.
