Heh, pretty cool. And some nice photoshop work there, really had the feel of the Doc paperbacks (I have almost all of them, started around the Feathered Octopus (Yeah, I'm that old.)

Just out of interest, what is the deal with Doc's hair in those illustrations? Or is it meant to be some sort of helmet? Really weird looking whichever it is.

According to the books he did wear a metal skull cap, that simulated his natural hair, for protection.

I like Doc's musculature of the Ballentine books, but like the old pulp magazine face better.

I hope if they ever do the new movie about him they go with the retro looking Doc before the Arnold/muscle bound looking Doc.

The picture was working fine when I first posted it. I can only imagine what sort of picture got substituted in it's place. Just please tell me it wasn't that horrid bathtub scene that I've seen before!!

I have saved the pic and placed it on ImageShack so it should be working fine now. But still would like your permission repost it, if I may.
