What I painted in March 2025
« on: 05 March 2025, 02:46:26 PM »
These crept over into March. Various scientists, diplomats, officials and vendors. Even more 28mm alien miniatures from the Ignis Quadrant EC3D range.

Using this figure to represent a distant cousin of the late Jabba the Hutt, determined to claim what he sees as his rightful place at the top.

Another 28mm alien miniature from the Ignis Quadrant EC3D range.

You really are building up quite the menagerie.  Civilian models always seem to be a missing element in most games.

I thought it was former American Vice President Mike Pence.

Weird, since "Johnny" looks like a young Donny T!

Nice work on these whoever they are!

North Star shopping:

A few bits for The Zone - Four EMP wild boars and the Komodo and Snapping Turtle from the Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago stuff.

I also picked up their deal for 5 of the new Giant Wolves plus a goblin rider sprue as the 15 in the box set wasn?t quite enough  ;)

Added one of the plastic wolves (centre of the last pic) so you can see how they match in.

Forgot to update this thread! Most of March was consumed with painting this batch of 8 mounted Dark Age cavalry...

In my Lead Legionaries blog, I whinge about how it was too big of a batch and I need to keep it to fewer figures per undertaking...  lol For that discussion, and talk about how I painted them and why I used the colors I did, feel free to check out my blog:

Bit of a mixed bag this week.

Carol Peletier from The Walking Dead.

Joel Miller and Ellie Williams from 'The Last of Us'.

Doctor Aphra, the morally questionable, criminal archaeologist from Star Wars.
