Beautiful stuff JB! I like the blue colouration/variation on the armour and tone of the (insert new vehicle name here) tank. Possibly the nicest Ultramarines colour scheme I’ve seen. What does your son play?

Awesome work, the way you've done the blue does give the armour a very lived in look.

I agree with the others, this is a very nice take on the normal bright blue ultra marines look.

I like the modelling you have done on the jet pack troopers, but the weapons they have look like they will send them flying backwards if they fire them!

They look great.  Funny thing about gaming.  We game to be with people.  Family is a bonus.

Very nice painting. It does give them a 'campaign' look rather than the usual 'fresh off the assembly line' look that appears in many photos. Had you seen the look of the marines in the 'Ultramarines' film before painting them? It's quite reminiscent.

Wow your work is amazing! I have just purchased some space marines to start an Ultra Marine army so your post is very relevant. The grim dark style suits 40K and you have done it proud.... I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I have got to agree, I have never liked the poster boys of 40K the Ultrasmurfs lol

But your fantastic paint job makes me think Grim Dark in a good way, much better than the usual parade blue :D

Nice work
