I suppose they're not commercially available?

The sculptor said they were made for some event in Spain, like a convention or tournament. I'm assuming they aren't going to be available sadly.

I shall respectfully contend that my own Witch Hunter mini is better, being based upon the daddy of all witch-hunter archetypes;)

I think they aren't aiming at the same market/style. This witchhunter is clearly a GW style figure, while yours is more trying to make a believable character. Kinda like Warhammer vs LOTR fantasy minis (with yours being the latter, so I'm sure there's a compliment in there somewhere).  ;)
