Victrix 28mm WW2
« on: April 12, 2025, 09:44:01 PM »

that announcement caught me by surprise.  The pics look nice.  Have they said more about what they intend to do in 28mm?

Yes, I like the look of these.

Does anyone know more about Victrix's 28mm WWII plans?

I've only seen what it says  on the Victrix site:

"This is the beginning of a long journey into 28mm WW2 for Victrix so stay tuned for updates of the next sets coming along."

And some renders of upcoming Soviets were shown off at a convention. There are pictures floating around the Internet somewhere. Edit: I might have dreamed the Soviets part.

Well, we got quite a lot of info now on the matter, and the pack - whilst not very cheap for plastics - looks to be a really good deal for Chain of Command players.

Good update, that is a lot of detail about the kit now, which I don't think was there on Friday.

Will be interesting to see what else comes out, but as I mainly want some opposition for my British Paras, these feel a great fit.

Given that their 12mm Airborne have a brolly waving chap, feels the chances are good!

I can't but imagine that British airborne will be not far behind.  Personally I hope they go east, but that's always been a minority interest.

Those Germans look like beautiful sculpts, though I'd like to see what the sprue is like.

They have Soviet renders up, so they’re going east. 👍

Very interested in the new 28mm. The negative point is that they have most of them camouflaged jackets to paint which is going to take ages...
