Potent Pedro Vichy Bloch 152
« on: May 09, 2025, 08:43:15 AM »
I already have two Bloch 152 in the collection so I thought I needed to do something different, I painted up this aircraft as an Vichy Armee de l’Air Bloch 152.

Cheers
Matt

I'm liking that one Matt, colourful kite! Can recall seeing a real one flying at a Duxford air show recently.

Harry/BlueWillow, any idea where the Duxford Bloch came from?  There isn't one based there so it must have been a "visitor". They have a flying Hawk 75 painted in Armee de l'Air Hawk 1940 colours so I'm intrigued as to the origin of a flying Bloch 152.  I have some but in 1/300!

Thinking about it, it probably was the Hawk!

Harry, is this what you saw? Duxford's Hawk 75 in L'Armee de l'Air colours. Photo taken this morning.

Harry, at the risk of offending the purists I think one 1939/40 radial engine fighter with retractable undercarriage looks much like another when flying in an airshow. My interest was piqued by your comment as I volunteer at IWM Duxford and had never seen or heard of a Bloch-152 being there.
