Generation Kill Humvees
« on: December 13, 2009, 09:56:14 PM »
Hello!,

I present you my last work: 3 humvees from QRF (15mm) and crews from Peter Pig. I'm thinking painting more vehicles of this periode...do you know other modern 15mm manufacturers? Thanks.

Looking really good!!!

What are you going to use them for?!?!

I've always been wanting to buy some of the modern PP stuff... just never had a good use for it.

Looking excellent! Really nicely done and the crews work brilliantly.

Brian's Humvees are rather splendid too:

They are available with a nice selection if turrets etc.

Skytrex make excellent 15mm modern vehicles (especially Soviet types) and Rebel Minis have some exceptional new US infantry.

Very nicely done. I especially like the work on the 15mm Peter Pig Figures.

If I was still into 15mm, I'd want a set of those for my own (I switched to 20mm earlier this year). This almost makes me want to reverse my decision.  :D

IIRC Quality Casting also gots some good 15mm modern stuff.
But I am also interested in other companies then the ones mentioned.

I'd never heard of this before, but the series has just arrived on top of my watching pile at the same that I found the book at a car boot.  Lovely stuff, kinda reminds of Jarhead.
