Mike, to say that it is an impressive piece of work, just does not do it justice, from concept to execution, that is a piece of art, a masterwork. The word awesome is tossed around so casually these days with no concept of it's true meaning, but I feel justified in applying it here. Fantastic. You rock.

Oh and welcome to league of half centurions btw. They do tell us that 50 is the new 40, but I never had all these aches and pains at 40, ha ha.

Amazing model and very well executed from start to finish.

Totally agree - now we must see it's crew!

Well Done.

:-* :-*  Yes an army to support that would have to be quite colorful. Sihks or Afgans or maybe Turks from the mid 19th century would look great. And perhaps a few steam elephants from Stonehouse to escourt the big guy.

Afghans could be quite fun. Elephants used to be a not-uncommon sight in Kabul. At the start of the 20th century, the Kabul fire brigade actually had its own elephants to help pull down buildings, clear rubble and the like.

That short-coming was overlooked as they brought their own firehose.  :D
