I've never tried to paint it - if I did I'd probably just add blue to a mix of black and brown...

Some of the people from the Nuba Mountains are among the "blackest" of black people. And would be quite a challenge to paint...

These ladies make Grace Jones look positively pasty (I tried to achieve this look once and it was a disaster, back to the drawing board on that one).

They're the 'Blue People' the article was on about. I'm pretty sure of it, at least.

Yes, I'd always remembered her as being darker than that

Those others would be a problem to paint - their faces are truly an ebony shade. I wouldn't have a clue which paints to use.

Black, a mid-brown, some navy blue, and maybe a dash of purple.
