I believe Mike is trying to cast this up such that it'll be easy to do a modular model with magnets.  Mind you, that doesn't help if you want two paint jobs!

I all ready thought about that using earth magnet, as I have had some experience in that department with converting my Games Workshop Tyranid army, did my Carnifix and the latest Trygon, model, my experience is they ok with plastic as there is no weight in plastic, hence the pulling force will hold the parts together with out gravity making parts droop down, also did my Hive Tyrant that’s made out of pewter but had to have a pin system to stop gravity taking over and making the arms droop as will as the magnets.
If you want a strong grip then you need be using 5mm or 6mm if you can fit them in both arm and body.
Here is some picture of my hive tyrant with magnets on it and Trygon, the hive tyrant upper and lower body have 5mm earth magnets in them you pick hole figure up by upper body.

...wow...those heads are FANTASTIC!
Is it sculpted by the guy from Gribbly Miniatures? The styles look really alike and I LIKE THEM!!!

Agreed!  And I'll definitely be making stats for this guy for Kaiju Kaos and pimping it to my players.  :)

Must say I greatly prefer the standard head over the 'special'.  Much more reminiscent of the big 'C'.

Great Old Ones!  :o

Is this going to be a metal or resin kit?

Wow, what we've seen so far has been pretty amazing. One heck of a lot of money for one figure, but one heck of a lot of figure for the money, I'd say.

Almost worth buying as a sanity-damaging mantlepiece ornament.

If I had a mantelpiece.

Or any sanity.

Beware those impish cats. They simply adore that smashing report of fragile material fallen to the floor.

Beautiful work on the head. I salivate with anticipation. (will this being the last teaser be a hint at how close the stars are? (as in I should hold off buying stuff so I can afford it?))

It'll be resin as it's huge.  If anyone is familiar with the Abomniable Snowbeast from Crocodile Games, the Godling is bigger.

As far as the model goes, last I heard all the pieces went back up North with Kyla after Christmas, for her to finish the model.  AlLl the parts are done, she just needs to put it together.

And I'll take that moment to pimp her website outt o everyone:

Keep salivating.  I saw the completed model on the weekend.  It is a thing of beau...I mean horror.
