Schupo Sonderwagen 21 Copplestone?

Santa (thanks Ignatieff) delivered a new Copplestone Schupo Sonderwagen 21.
There is one piece that I cannot work out where it lives.
It's the long truncated triangular loose bit (that looks a lot like the cast on 'bumper' minus the rivets).
Not the back bumper is it (if it is it hangs over the rear armour a fair bit)?
All suggestions welcome......

Well...dug about a bit and found a 1/35th kit

looks like it is the back bumper....
