Pump House
« on: December 30, 2009, 06:46:46 PM »
Based loosely on a pumping house I regularly pass whilst walking the dogs and made using up some leftover plasticard from the factory build. Again, the roof will be tiled later.

A little late but its your material so merry christmas Thunderchicken.

Will you stop showing off with all this Victorian loveliness!!!

My forces will enjoy reducing your structures to rubble (if Thunderchicken ever gets here that is!!)

Deeeelightful. ;D :-*
Mr TH Underchicken is going to have a superb industrial setting for his/our games. ;)

Was  the photograph taken at Mr Guantanamo-Baygo's paint emporium by any chance? There is a rather splendid collection of various paints on display in the background. :)

Yet another loverly Victorian masterpeice (I know it's not finished yet  ;D )

Have a look at the Kew pump house, they have a loverly tower there and I often thought about making it when driving past.

What sort of tiles will you use on the roof? I have had quite a time wrestling with how to make some convincing appearing spanish tiles, with nothing to show for it.

The new owner will be adding the tiles from embossed plasticard.

For Spanish buildings you may want pantiles? Wills do some decent ones in their HO/OO railway products and there are a couple of German manufacturers who produce them too.

You can see them and the others in the range about 3/4 down this page

but you can find them cheaper
