Some of my Colonial Stuff
« on: January 11, 2010, 06:38:48 PM »
Hi guys.   Being new to this great site (dang!  It's like an All Star team of painters and builders!), I figured I should post some pics of my builds.   My newest builds just got photographed, and are not "up" yet, but here's some Colonial standbys.

"Dork's Drift"  Scratchbuilt figures and fortification, My Con game for the chir'ren

My "Zulus"

and cavalry:

My 10mmm "Not Rorkes Drift" outpost for Zulu and Sudan siege games (barricades are carved out of magnets)  The gate entrance on the right is now finished

My 1/72 scale gate and towers for my hillfort (now converted to 15mm and complete, with mountain base)

Nice work! I've yet to build anything yet. Only just starting out on painting my first army (Explorers for Darkest Africa), I'm hoping to be able to post a few pics in the coming weeks. Loved the "Dorks Drift" stuff, the names still got me chuckling.

SATF is perfect for that genre, too.

My newest game in the theme is a zombie game.  sculpted  100 zombies, and zombified characters, plus the town
