Agreed.. gorgeous find, but it's too small (in my opinion, granted) to justify the price.

Isn't 1/64 scale kinda small for 28mm figs?
I really don't know...

Well it depends on the maker, some 1/64th are much bigger than 1/64th. The 1/64th Futureliner is 6 inches long, 1 1/4 wide, and 1 1/2 tall, making it suitable for what I have in mind.

So did you get this model?  It would be great to see a picture with some miniatures, for scale reference...

I'd go for an SS12 ICBM launch vehicle myself, the US military historically tended not to notice these.  :D

Question, would the 1:43 scale be more in line with fitting with 28mm miniatures?

Myself if I were buying that particular 1/64 die-cast it would be to disassemble such to make resin castings off the main body, that would justify the price tag for me.

28mm is 1/56 scale so the most average you will find is 1/48 which still looks big IMO.
1/32 is HUGE. The closest rangers i have seen have been repaints of the disney CARS, and the Battle Machines / Hotwheels special edition cars.
