If you have access to Vallejo try looking at their equivalent in the game color line. Personally I have used the model color German Camo orange ochre and then yellow ochre as a highlight over bestial brown and I think it is fairly close to what you want also.

Erik B, for US Airborne have a look at Vallejo 70874 USA TAN EARTH, its the perfect base colour for those airborne jump suits, also perfect for GIs in the M43 jacket. It highlights well with mixes of matt white. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
