Sir Whilbert Stroop, the Unobtanium Man
« on: February 08, 2010, 08:51:50 AM »
Put this fine fellow together out of a Redoubt Officer body, some plastic rod, a spare pith helmet from WF, a meltabomb, some screws and a cog.

He is the only automated infantryman to be knighted.

Yes, great concept! I'm also looking forward to seeing him finished.

I must have some spare figures suitable for a similar conversion somewhere  :)

Very very cool! He reminds me of an old comic book, "Mr. Hero, the Newmatic man"

Love his 'stache.  Can't wait to see him painted.  Looks like he's leaning over a trifle far though - wouldn't his servos correct?

Wahey! Great fun! Now you've got a spare officers head to stick on an impervious suit!
Don't!

Love this concept.

Whole unit? Hmmmm... Would be cool but I like the idea of an individual character type!

Depends on the game really I suppose.  :D
