I did want to ask what you used as your plane holder upper. It looks like you can change heights as it retracts in on itself but I cannot place the bit.

The plane stand is a telescopic one available from Old Glory, cost ten pounds (UK) and well worth it.  They sell them to mount their 15mm planes.

Great stuff, I bought the two relevant WIs last week and thoroughly enjoyed reading your articles. I have started a Abyssinian force for the first war and your reports are an inspiration for me although Im never going to achieve your standards!
