I'll be there.  It's a good show to take my wife to as we can get lunch in York afterwards.  Not sure how long my visit will be this year as we'll have my 3 month old daughter on board, but hopefully enough time to pick up some books and figures!

We had snow too, but it's hopefully thawing now.

Still cold though.

Agreed! Three inches of snow this morning! Not much for some places but this is Honolulu!

(actually it is north-east England but I have Alzheimers)

I don't think it's Alzheimer's. Given the way the young folks dress over here, the mistake is easily-made, and happens to me every evening I'm walking home from friends or university.

Finished uploading my pictures of this year's Vapnartak. Went there for the first time, and I was most impressed - excellent venue, great selection of traders, fine to excellent tables.

Here's the gallery link:

Some of my favourite tables as teasers:

A superb 20mm ww2 table:

The "League of extraordinary Kriegspielers" massive BoB table (a bit crowded for my taste, but oh the lovely eye candy...)

Bought a bunch of stuff (Aliens, Predators, Colonial Marines, Cold War Naval, and some odds and ends), but managed to stay well within my budget.

Yes, there were some very nice games out there today.  Many didn't feature a sign telling you what they were but I still enjoyed looking!  Unfortunately my stay was cut short by a very squawky baby, but a good day out otherwise. :)

We arrived at 10, three of us plus two more boys from school, had a good look around, played on a few games, met lots of people (including Westphalia Chris)spent a little bit of cash, left at 4.

At least another 4 of our boys got through later in the day, everyone seemed to have a good time.
