I finally worked up the nerve to run a game of .45 Adventure at the local quarterly con.
I mentioned this to Rich in one of my many e-mails to him, and bemoaned the fact that did not have a nice glossy copy of the rules to display. (I'm cheap by nature and ordered the pdfs. ) In my e-mail I to Rich I also speculated on the possibility of borrowing a copy from the FLGS to display.
Rich's answer was to tell me to send him my address a couple of weeks before the con and he would make sure that I had a nice shiny copy of the rules to display and a prize for the winner.
Today I received in the mail not one but two
shiny copies of the .45 Adventures rules AND a copy of "Mooks, Mobs, and Men of Honor" for, as Rich put it "reference material"
So thank you Rich. You may think that I am taking my time to run your game at a Con, but I prefer to think that I am using your rules as an excuse to go gaming all day.
Did I mention that the con is being held on my birthday?
